About Event:

ATX Trans Pride was founded in 2019.

Founded by Austin-native producer & DJ, ED WEST.

ATX Trans Pride began as a response to Austin Pride’s lack of trans-diversity on its yearly line-ups.

Trans Pride initially took place in August 2019. The Global Pandemic prevented Trans Pride from happening in 2020.

2021-2024 ATX Trans Pride took place in August in Austin, TX.

2025 saw ATX Trans Pride happen in June and August, respectively. Each event featured a different line-up of trans artists.

My Role:

DEI Comedy produced the comedy portion of this event, casting 6 trans stand up comedians from all over Texas. Coordination of the event flyers, and run of show for performers was part of our efforts to create a fun and worry free show! I created the flyers and trifold for this event to add as promotional materials both physically and digitally.
